Masquerading as it is in St. Kitts includes elements of European and African genres, which include the “Wild Mas”, the Waltz, the Rhumba, and the Fertility Dance. ILLY’s spin will include historical masquerade movement to current high tempo St. Kitts Rhthyms.

Rooted in the small island of St. Kitts she appreciates the unique sounds and styles of all Caribbean and African countries both big and small. ILLY is known for blending Caribbean elements with both traditional and urban West African sounds and styles. The Diaspora Dance series offers the public access to an array of Caribbean Dance forms and fitness styles. These workshops $15 each, range from Guyana to Cuba, back to Brazil and many more. Keep an eye out for these Thursday classes at 6:30-7:45pm beginning April 13, 2017.
