Dance Caribbean COLLECTIVE is presenting ‘Our Caribbean Spirit,’ the signature piece for this year’s New Traditions Festival held on June 16-18th, 2017.

The Our Caribbean Spirit project will explore how the movement from various island cultures tells the story of our resilience and exuberance. The aim of this work is to unite dancers of Caribbean heritage in NYC across styles, training and/or background. We are especially looking for Caribbean folks that are committed, love culture, are open to learning from others and willing to share their own story of their Caribbean experience right here in Brooklyn through the collaboration process.
